Rain pouted when Suncatcher said she couldn't possibly come with her. Oh poo. Responsibility, responsibility... that was all boring, hum-drum, surely there was more to life than that. And what was a Princess for if not for fighting for her land? That was Rain's logic, and she shook her main haughtily.
"Well, I'm still going to try," she said proudly. She didn't like going alone, however, and even if she had had her fun with Skydancer, she would have wanted someone of her family this time. Her mind scanned through options. Then stopped on Kenaz. Her face brightened up. "Umm... have you seen our little brother?"
Suncatcher was, after all, being a bore, and she was sure the Champions would be here soon, hence she had very little time to plot how to get into the ship.

Suncatcher sighed heavily. It wasn't too hard to follow Rain's train of thought, but the older sister was content to let it slide. Maybe there was a part of her that fretted at the responsibility, too. But she's been raised to it too well.
"In his room, I imagine. He didn't like the air of gloom that settled about this place, so he's holed up in there."

Rain's lips curved to a smile, and she tossed her tail cheerfully.
"Perfect," she purred and then pretended an innocent face. "Why don't I... go say hello, eh?"
And with that, she was out the door like the little fluttering lightning bolt she was.
