A white mare and a peachy pink mare trotted out to the plains of Dream Valley. The plains were wide and spread out from each other. There seemed to be not very much life in each plain, there were, however, tiny rocks laying around here and there in them. The two ponies looked around them and noticed that no one else was near, so they decided to stay where they were at.
"Is this a good spot?" The white mare called out, carrying the materials they would be needing to build a tent.
The other mare, whom was carrying a medium-sized backpack on her back, looked at the spot and shook her head. "There seems to be too many small rocks laying around this area." She explained.
The white mare, Sundance, nodded. "Oh, ok. Then where should our spot be at?"
Parasol, the other mare, thought for a moment. She walked slowly around the plain they were in, tracking down almost every tiny rock. She finally found a large enough area where there were no tiny rocks. "Here's good!" She called out to her friend.
Sundance smiled and set the materials down on the spot. "Well, I thought we'd never find a spot!" Said Sundance.
"Well, my good friend, we finally have." Said Parasol with a calming smile.
"So, shall we start building our tent?" Asked the white mare.
Parasol nodded with agreement. "I think we shall."
So the two started to set up their tent.

((Hope you don't mind if I bring Posey in here.)) ((*Edited out*)) ((*Edited back in* )) Posey knelt on the ground behind a considerably large rock, carefully eying the ground. She was on one of her casual strolls - one of the mare's favorite pastimes was searching the area for new plant life, and often taking unique specimens home with her to replant in her garden. More than once she had wondered if such a thing was entirely legal, but always decided that if she didn't know for sure, there would be no harm in taking little shrubs and flowers back with her - after all, who was going to miss them? This place had never had much more than a sad little shrub or two, but for some reason she felt drawn back to it - perhaps because she wanted to know why. As Posey examined the soil, she heard faint voices in the distance. When they didn't stop, but seemed to actually be coming closer, she rose slightly to peer over the top of the rock. When the mare saw to others setting up a tent some distance away, she smiled a bit to herself. It was nice to see ponies finding healthy ways to pass the time outside. However, she suddenly realized that she would be easily spotted across the flat, somewhat barren landscape, and was worried they would think that she had been spying - or worse, discover that she had been kidnapping wild plants across Dream Valley. "Goodness!", Posey squeaked, before dropping back down behind the rock. She hadn't meant to talk aloud, but was used to it after all the time she spent alone. The sound carried easily in the surroundings, and although she was fairly certain she would have been heard, she fell silent and listened in hopes that she was wrong.

The two mares had finished setting up the tent. Parasol gave a sigh of relief as they finished. "Well, now that that's finished, I say we go in and check out our tent from the inside!"
The white mare nodded. "Sounds good to me!"
The two ponies went inside their tent.

((Oh what the heck I guess Posey could join in for a while! XD))
The two ponies unpacked their stuff. They then set their bags aside. Parasol peeked out from the tent and looked around. There was a rock in the distance, and what seemed to be something yellow and pink hiding behind it...
Sundance noticed Parasol was looking outside. "See anything?" She asked.
"I think I see something pink and yellow hiding behind that rock over there." Said Parasol as she pointed to it.
Sundance peeked out as well and saw the rock. "Hmm, looks like Posey." She said.
Parasol nodded. "Should we go talk to her?" She asked her friend.
"Why don't we leave her alone? She might be busy, though." Said the white mare.
"Busy doing what? Playing Hide and Seek?" And with that Parasol got out of the tent and walked slowly over to the rock.
Sundance sighed and went back inside the tent.
Parasol watched the rock as she walked towards it. She knelt down beside it and smiled at Posey. "Hello!" She said with a cheerful smile.

((Rightio! I'll reply now.))
Posey froze when she heard hoofbeats coming closer, and her green eyes widened to look up guiltily when Parasol appeared in front of her.
"Oh dear! I mean...hello..." She looked at the rainbow pony's symbol, but that still didn't help her with the name. For the Rainbow's sake, they'd all practically grown up together! Blushing, she went with her first instinct and finished, "...Umbrella?"

Parasol raised a brow. "Umbrella? Where?" She looked around. "I don't see an Umbrella anywhere....."
Sundance was still inside the tent. She was writing in her diary.....

After she had written in her diary, Sundance slowly closed it and set it down. She then peeked back out the "door" of the tent and glanced over at Parasol and Posey. It appeared that they were talking. Sundance didn't want to bother them. She went back inside and took out a book she was reading.

Blushing even more, Posey decided to simply see how far into the conversation she could get without directly using a name. "Oh, sorry", she mumbled, "I...I was thinking it might rain."
The mare glanced helplessly up at the clear sky, before desperately trying to think up a new topic of conversation. "So...you're camping? Who is that with you?" It was obvious in her voice that she felt awkward, and even as she spoke it sounded forced.

The peachy-colored mare giggled a bit, seeing as how Posey seemed to be a bit shy. "I'm camping with my best friend, Sundance." She said with a smile. ((Speaking of best friends, would it be ok if Posey and Lickety Split were best friends? Since that is how I imagined them to be, anyway. )

((We could probably arrange some history of them being childhood friends. But we'd have to assume Lickety was outgoing enough, since Posey keeps to herself. She would enjoy the company if Lickety came to visit, though.))
"Ah, well..." The yellow mare fell silent, wondering if it would be rude to keep talking and impose, or if it would be unthinkably rude to simply leave.

((Alright then! ^^))
Parasol smiled at the yellow mare. "So, anyway..." But Parasol herself did not know what they could talk about. But Parasol didn't want to leave Posey all by herself...

Shuffling her feet for a moment, Posey spontaneously asked, "What's your favorite flower?"
Well, it could have been worse. At least the mare really cared about the answer. Such a thing could really tell you a lot about a pony.
