Bala could hear the fighting down the tunnel. His muscles tensed. He was desperate to leap in and join in the fun, but he restrained himself with great effort. If anyone managed to get past, he would be right there to meet him. And if anyone came calling, he could at least give the captain fair warning.

((She tends to have that type of effect. ;D))
Turtlebeak heard the shout from the capitan and saw the guards barreling back down the hall. She reared up in surprise. Reaching for her knife, she lunged for one, managing to tackle it and stick the knife in it's throat. Remembering how she was still cloaked from earlier, she threw all caution to the wind, pulling the knife from the throat of the unfortunate guard and screaming yet again.
The guards, now hearing a scream and seeing a knife floating seemingly on it's own, yelled and stopped in their tracks. Turtlebeak lunged forward, quickly stabbing at them with her knife, making small nicks in their ankles, and taking another to the ground with a slash caross the neck. The guards went for her with their swords, a few catching her across her back.
Turtlebeak gave a slow retreat as, at the sight of blood, more guards advanced. She darted behind them, finally deciding go forward and stab. She managed to take down a one more from the back, sticking her knife between the shoulder blades. Three remained. Turtlebeak ran back to the front and screamed again, satisfied that Orivy and the capitan would arrive soon.

As Orivy caught her balance, she saw the captain dispatch three more guards within a moment and snorted in satisfaction. She whirled after him as he started into the room, and swept through the doorway.
She glimpsed the dagger floating in the air and the blood coming from nowhere, and leaped to Turlebeak's defense. As a guard went down from a knife between the shoulders, she sliced open the side of his neck for good measure.
"Back, Turtlebeak!" she yelled over the screaming. There were now three guards left, and Orivy could feel the climax of the fight making her heart pump with excitement. The last few were always the most difficult; they were desperate for their lives.
'Ivy threw herself at the nearest. He saw her coming and countered her dagger with his sword, slashing at the air wildly. He was a good fighter and she had hard work avoiding him; she was best at stealthy killing, not hoof-to-hoof combat. She dropped flat to the floor as his blade whizzed over her, and managed to slice the tendons at the back of one of his legs before scrambling away from his blade.
He buckled but stayed on one leg and one knee, roaring and spraying her with flecks of sweat and spit. He lunged toward her and threw something suddenly - she barely had time to move before it sliced open her shoulder on its whirling way by. A knife? He must have had one in his belt -
Orivy grunted with pain. She was wearing out already, and enough was enough. The broadsword was now inches from her face as the guard struggled forward. She heaved herself backward and threw her dagger as she fell. It embedded itself between the guard's eyes so hard that he was knocked over.
'Ivy held her head up as she hit the stone floor, and whipped a quick glance behind her. All was clear. Abandoning dignity, she crab-scrambled backwards to bump into the wall and catch her breath as the last two guards met their fate at the captain's hooves.

The castle's pump system to bring sea water in and filter it for drinking was almost like a maze as Gan Ning sliped through pipe after pipe in his fluid form. To a little discontent and a few blows to his dignaty, he had found himself riseing in one or two toliets before he at last reached a small fountain inside the vault. His form was rippled enough to grant him a clear view of the room while being undetected in the water, but it didn't stop him from almost wistleing at the vast treasure.
*Man... If we really did prefer stealing from folks, this would be a entire mother load!* His eyes then rested on the locket. Something, he couldn't put a hoof on it, stired within him at that sight. *Is that the fabled Locket of Light? Oh please, those guys REALLY aren't planing to steal a Rainbow, are they?* Weather the Rainbow of Light was inside or not, Gan Ning knew this wasn't what he was looking for. Sliping into the bason's drain, he again entered the complex pipe system.
This time, he flowed into a wall fountain inside the hall. His eyes narrowed at the carnage before him, as he took in what he clearly might have been right to guess was the enemy crew. His liquid eyes scaned the enemies over, before he allowed his body to slip into the pipes, hovering there as his eyes watched. *Lets see... A captain, two blood thirsty maniacs, a greener that recently must have lost her ear... Man, Cutter will be diapointed their's nobody here that might give him a challange.*
His thinking aside, Gan Ning proceded to do the thing he did best in this form; Spy.
((I came up with the idea that Gan Ning comes and spies on things, learns about the theft, and then reports back; This way, the Good crew stays put long enough for Kail to ask them for help. Hope you approve, Bella!))

(I just don't understand why that would make them stay put long enough? I would think they would be right out after them without waiting for the champions? And the rest of the treasure is down a seperate hallway from the locket, just for your own mental picture ) (Um, will edit with an actual IC reply tommorrow - day off. Sorry for the wait all!)

(True. I guess we'll have to tie him up and leave him. Then when you're ready for them to find out about the theft, that's when you find him hanging from the rafters or something. lol)

Two more. Two more guards and they would have completed the most daring heist in the history of Ponyland. Ratskull could nearly feel the cool metal of the locket around his neck, the chain too small for him, the locket resting just below his adam's apple.
Only that wasn't the locket.
Quickly realizing that he hadn't been paying attention and was caught, Ratskull turned his sword to lay against hif wrist and thrust back, catching his captor in the gut and causing him to release.
Holding one hoof to the freely-bleeding cut in his throat, the brown stallion turned around with his sword at about the level a pony on his knee's might have his neck and got lucky. The guard's head flew across the room towards the only one left.
Eyes wide, the final guard ran - taking off down the hallway and through the secret passages that Ratskull wasn't willing to chase him through. Besides, by the time the guard found someone, woke them up, and gathered a group big enough (and not scared off by roumors of a knife suspended in air and unbodied screams) to actually stop them they would be on their way to the ship and out of the Harbor.
"Good job," he said grufly to the mares and sheathed his sword. Grabbing the locket from its place on the altar, he tucked it into a pocket and headed back down the hallway they had come from to find the main treasury and the other's of his crew.

Turtlebeak, breathing heavily, stared uneasily down at the murdered guards for a minute. She slowly reached down and picked up Tsunami, who lay close to one of the bodies. She then turned quickly and followed Ratskull.

Orivy stood up and made a tiny grunt of pain when she put weight on her front hoof. Her shoulder was pouring blood, although it was barely visible as it sank into her thick red coat.
She pulled the waist-tie from her black trenchcoat and bound the wound with it quickly. It would do until they got back to the ship. Limping stoicly, she followed Ratskull and Turtlebeak.

Reaching the hallway the others had turned into Ratskull yelled down it and then continued on towards the entrance. It didn't matter - the rest of the treasure. They had what was important, they had the single most sought-after treasure in all of Ponyland. It was like holding an angel in his pocket, and he could feel the warmth radiating off of it.
Reaching the hole in the wall, which was still sitting wide open, Ratskull looked both dirrections down the hall. It was still dark out, but undoubtably would be getting light very soon now, and when the schedualed changing of the guard came and saw the disaster they would be hot on the crew's tails. That was, if the last guard didn't show up with a backup group.
"Comon, back to the ship! Quick as can be mates!" Tearing through the hallways, Ratskull made it outside and took a large gulp of fresh, morning air into his lungs as he cantered towards the ship that spelled their safety.

Following the capitan's lead, Turtlebeak set off to the ship as fast as she could gallop.

Orivy tried to put her full weight on her foreleg to run, but after a few stumbling steps she gave up and mustered all her effort to run on three legs. Awkwardly, she followed the captain as fast as she could.
