(cont. from other thread) Pippi sat next to a tree and wiped her tears. It'll be ok, Pippi. You're a strong pony, you can set up your own crew. She in fact, liked the idea. "That's what I'll do!" She shouted excitedly, not caring who heard her. "I'll create my own crew! And a BETTER crew than Tiger's!" She pranced around with glee. Mr. Neilson then came running up to her, dragging her chest full of gold. "Oh! Mr. Neilson! Thank goodness you're ok!" She said, grabbing the monkey and cuddling him. "And my gold as well!" She smiled even bigger. She was the happiest pirate on Earth right now.
The reddish-pink mare trotted further and further into the forest, looking around her. She sighed. "Well, this forest doesn't seem as exciting as I hoped it would be." She said softly to herself. "Oh well."
She then bumped into a purple mare and fell backwards. She shook her head and got up.
"Ooomph!" Pippi said, as she fell backwards as well. She got up, and blinked her eyes rapidly for a few seconds. "Ah! Who goes?" She said.
Sweet Summertime looked at the mare. "Oh, gee! I'm so sorry!" She said with a frown.
Pippi giggled. "Aww, that's alright." She said with a smile. "So, where did you come from?"
The reddish-pink mare smiled back. "Well, I came from, uh, back around there." She said, pointing in the direction she came.
Pippi nodded. "Ah, I see. I came from there." She pointed in the opposite direction.
Sweet Summer nodded. "Oh."
Pippi smiled. "So, you're name is?" She asked the mare.
Sweet Summer smiled. "My name is Sweet Summertime!" She shouted, prancing a bit.
Pippi giggled. "Nice to meet you Sweet Summertime! I'm Pippi! Pippi Longstocking!"
And when Sweet Summertime heard this, she gasped, her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh!!!!! Is it really you??!" She shouted with amazement.
Pippi nodded. "Yup!" She said with a grin.
Sweet Summertime jumped up and down really fast. "EEEEEEEEE!!!! It IS you!!!! I've been wanting to meet you for all my life! I am your biggest fan! Oh, you're one of the best pirates I've ever heard about!" She shouted, suddenly hugging Pippi.
Pippi blinked. "Heh, heh. Thank you." She said.
The reddish-pink mare let go of Pippi. "Sorry for me bursting like that. I've just never seen you in person before." She said, blushing a bit.
Pippi smiled. "Aww, it's ok! I like having fans!" She said.
Sweet Summertime smiled. "Well, you are the most famous female pirate there ever was!" She said with a grin.
This time, it was Pippi's turn to blush. "Aww, gee." She said.

Sweet Summertime smiled. "So, what should we do?" She asked the purple mare. She then saw Mr. Neilson. "Oh, is that Mr. Neilson?" She asked. Pippi nodded. "Yes, he is my pet monkey." She said. Sweet Summertime smiled. "He's cute!"
Pippi then paced around a bit. "Hmm, say! Would you like to be a part of my crew?" She asked Sweet Summertime. The reddish-pink mare blinked. "Oh, I would love to! I've always wanted to sail!" She said with a grin. Pippi smiled. "Great." She said with a nod. "Then let's get to work!"
Sweet Summertime blinked. "Wait! I'll need to bring a few things first, wait right here!" She said, and she headed to her home. (cont. in the cottages)

(cont. from the cottages) Sweet Summertime trotted back to the forest with her stuff. "Ok, I got my stuff!" She said with a grin. Pippi smiled. "Great!" She said, "Now we're ready! But how are we going to find ourselves a ship?" She asked.
Sweet Summertime trotted out of the forest. "Hey! Look over there!" She said, pointing to what seemed like a beach. "There's a small boat over there!" Pippi ran up to the mare. "Why, you're right! I guess someone was using it, and they got shipwrecked or something." She said. "Well, it does seem to need some stuff done to it." She said, trotting up to the boat and examining it. Sweet Summertime dragged all of their stuff down to the beach. "Well, then, let's get to work!" She said.
Pippi hopped into the boat, then her eyes widened a bit. "Hey, look! Looks like the sailors left some stuff behind! There's a bag of saltine crackers, and an old sword!" She said, picking up the stuff. Sweet Summertime grinned. "Wow, neat!" She said.
Pippi went inside underneath the ship, where the bedroom was. "And check this out!" She said, popping her head back up. "There's a room in here!" She climbed back out and smiled. "Looks like we'll be able to sail after all, huh?" She said, smiling.
Sweet Summertime nodded. "Yup, looks like." She said in response.
Pippi grinned. "Well, now, let's get to work! I found these sanders down in the bedroom, let's get sanding!" She said, and the two started sanding the boat.

After they were done sanding, Pippi went back into the room of the boat.
She came back out with a bucket of blue paint. "Well, I found this bucket of paint down there as well." She said with a smile. "It seems to have never been opened before. I guess the sailors were planning to paint their boat." She said.
Sweet Summertime nodded. "Guess so." She replied.
Pippi put the bucket down, and went back in the room. "And here's a small bucket of white paint as well!" She said, as she climbed out of the room and set the paint down.
Sweet Summer tilted her head. "But what are we going to use to paint it?" She asked.
Pippi revealed 2 paintbrushes she held in her hand. "Found these as well." She said, grinning.
Sweet Summer grinned. Pippi smiled. "Well, let's get painting!" She said. The two then started to paint the boat.

An hour passed, and the two were finished painting. Pippi sighed with relief. She then picked up the buckets and noticed something written on them. "Well, will you look here? This is fast-drying paint! It only takes it a half an hour to dry!" She said with a grin.
Sweet Summertime smiled with relief. "Ok." She responded. "Then after it dries, can we set sail?" She asked.
Pippi nodded. "I think so! Maybe, just maybe, we'll be able to set sail before the others!" She said, excited. Sweet Summertime raised an eyebrow. "Others?" She asked.
Pippi nodded. "Yes, I did belong to another crew not long ago, but they kicked me out, and I was their best female pirate! And it was all because of this stupid mare's fault for her bursting out at me for no god d*mn reason!" She said, frustrated and mad.
Sweet Summertime hesitated a bit. "But, why would they kick you out?! I just don't get it, you're a great pirate! Why, you were born to be a pirate, and that's the pure truth, and everyone knows it!!!!" She said.
Pippi looked up at her. "Really?" The reddish pink mare nodded. "Really." She said.
The purple mare smiled. "Thanks, you cheered me up!" She said.

A half an hour passed. Pippi checked the boat to make sure the paint was completely dry. The paint didn't appear wet. "Ok, well, I think the boat's just about ready. It doesn't look brand new, but it looks like it's able to go on the water." She said with a grin. Sweet Summertime smiled. "Then let's go!" Pippi hesitated. "Now, hold on a minute! Let's wait a little longer before sailing! I can faintly see the pirates' ship from hear, and it hasn't pulled away from the docks yet. We oughta wait for them to set sail before we do." She informed the other mare. Sweet Summer nodded. "Ok, so, while we wait, what shall we do?" She asked Pippi. "Hmm, maybe I could grab us some more food. Maybe I could find some fruit trees, so we'll have fruit." She said. "I remember seeing some apple trees in the forest. I'll go pick us some apples." Sweet Summertime tilted her head. "Um, why don't you use my bag to put the apples in?" She asked. "And maybe you could use your trunk of gold to stand on." Pippi smiled. "Good thinking!" She pushed her trunk into the forest, keeping a sharp eye on it. Sweet Summertime went into the room of the boat with her bag and dumped out the stuff. She came back out with her bag and went into the forest to give it to Pippi. She quickly ran back out to the boat to watch it while waiting for the other mare. Pippi found a few apple trees, and stood on her trunk. Holding the bag in one hoof, she picked apples with the other, until she filled the bag with 8 apples. She came back out with the apples. Then she got her chest full of her precious gold. "Ok! I got the apples!" She said, putting them in the boat. Sweet Summertime smiled. "Great!" She said. Pippi lifted her trunk and put it in the boat. She looked back at the pirate ship. It was still by the docks, still as an unliving object. The purple mare sighed. "Well, I guess it'll be a while before we can sail." She said. ((Ok, does it make more sense now? Sorry if it's still a bit confusing, I tried to make it sound better. ))

((I'm sorry, but I'm going to nag. Sweet Summertime untied the ropes that held the ship onto the beach, and the boat sailed away. She felt like singing. She started to sing. 1st passage: Since when were there ropes tying the boat to the beach? I thought it was a shipwreck. And while we're on the topic, this isn't exactly a deserted island here - wouldn't the original sailors have gone off for supplies and come back by now? I don't think they'd just leave their boat there. And if Sweet Summertime and Pippi put the ropes there to hold the boat in place, I'd like to bring it to your attention that you can't dock a ship on a beach - it would be caught in the sand. And they would have at least needed to give it a push. 2nd passage: That's redundant - plain and simple. If she started to sing of her own free will, of course she felt like singing. It's not like you're going to say, "Pippi didn't like singing, and didn't feel like singing right now, but she did anyway." Note: It's a little odd that the two mares had such incredible luck as to find sanders, two colors of paint(fast-drying no less), and brushes in a ship that was for unknown reasons just lying on the beach. And if it was damaged and needed work, I don't understand how simply sanding away more of it and repainting it is going to make it good as new. And those ponies just aren't going to live off a box of saltine crackers. Plus, you're setting sail way before us, and before the storyline has gotten going, so I'm assuming you're pulling yourself completely out of the pirate storyline.))

[And may I add - Enough of the self flattery. I'm positive that quite frankly, Pippi isn't the best female pirate there is. That's just a stupid thing to say.
This is funny.

((Um, well, ok, I'll edit some of these posts to make them make sense more. Sorry for the confusion, WS. Oh, and Delta, I didn't say she was the best female pirate, she's the most famous. Those things are different. And if you're going to say Bridie's the best female pirate, that's stupid as well. I'm not saying you did say that, but please don't.))

((That's better... but wouldn't being famous(and not feared) make Pippi a bad pirate? And how did SS hear of her? I'm assuming she doesn't have her own books in this universe because who would have written them, or even heard of her in the first place?))

((Uh...well....let's say that she just had her own movies, and that the book version of her doesn't exist in this universe. Would that make sense?))

(( Sorry, no. Having a movie is worse than having a book. That again raises the question of who tracked her down and wanted to make the movie in the first place. She would have to personally give them the rights. It's just kinda wierd how all your characters admire all your other characters. Like how Twinkle admires Lickety. Lickety's nonexistent friend admires Pippi. SS admires Pippi. Wouldn't it be okay if SS wasn't her fan? Or Lickety Split's friend, for that matter. It's just too hard to justify how she got famous. ))

((Yea, I guess you're right. But I'll keep Sweet Summertme a fan of Pippi's. We'll just say she's seen her in a movie that ponies know of. And she's a little bit famous.))

[Can I just say this: Pirates don't feature in movies.]

[[Well, not real pirates, anyways. Real pirates go around killing and robbing people. They just don't have the time to worry about featuring in films or gathering fan clubs.]]
