Standing on the deck, holding up the locket so it twirled back and forth slowly on its chain to catch the sun, Ratskull smiled at the coastline swiftly disappearing behind them. The crew had made it back to the boat with little harm, and plenty of loot, and now were enjoying the spoils on the two week trip back across the Ponyland Ocean.
Finally putting the chain back around his neck (he wouldn't trust a soul with the locket, not even Jack if she finally decided to show up), he marvelled at the warmth in the chain. He always expected cool metal and got a bit of a shock when the warmth of the Rainbow seeped into his bandaged neck. Not that it would be bandaged for long, just wearing the d**n thing was making it heal faster than it should have.
Turning his eyes back to the horizon where the coast was shrinking, the brown stallion wondered briefly if the Dreamers were even planning to come after them.
