*hugs you* I'm sorry, but I hope you understand. And I am glad you did! ^^ Hmm, and it seems that the Range RPG is quite dead if you ask me. Eh, I guess I could play Moonstone here then! Wait a sec, why am I posting in here for??! Isn't posting in other people's character bio threads not allowed? Umm, heh. *runs off quickly*

All right. Range has been deleted from the Sister Sites. I talked with Becka. This means I can have Moonstone. So I edited his bio back to the way it was when it was stamped. As it was stamped before, I don't think I really need to wait for him to be stamped again, but I'm willing to compete if I have to.
Ok, Angel, I realise you are probably angry with me, but I have my reasons to do this.
1. I love him. I really do. Ever since I first saw him fifteen years ago, I loved him. He's been alive in my mind ever since I was a little girl, and I have always mourned not ever being able to own him. I have to try to at least get to play him. 2. I spent hours and hours on this profile. I carefully went through the Hasbros and selected Sunlight as his mother, and I thought long and hard on his powers, his personality and his history. I gave this a lot of thought and a lot of my heart. This profile was written for Moonstone, and none other. No other pony can possibly be him. 3. You had Moonstone at a game that has been dead for a long, long time, and you posted exactly one in-character post for her. You probably didn't even remember her existence before I posted my Moonstone profile. I cannot see you having a deep connection with her. 4. Range is deleted from the sister sites, and thus your ownership of Moonstone ended there. Now he's free for competition, like any other character. I'm not stealing him. I had no idea you had made any kind of a profile for Moonstone earlier, and as things stand now, I don't see you have ever really played your Moonstone in the first place. I wouldn't dream of trying for a character that has been played a lot by someone else already, unless to adopt them with the blessing of the previous owner, but you never really owned Moonstone.
I wish we wouldn't need to argue over this, Angel. Believe it or not, I'm not trying to be mean to you. Moonstone simply matters a great deal to me, and I cannot let him go without a fight. To tell you the truth, I had hoped my Moonstone might have had some interaction with your characters, Heart Throb, for instance, as he is rather a romantic himself, and who knows, they might hit it off together. In any case, I sincerely hope we don't need to start a war for this.

Character's Name: Medley Type: pegasus Gender: male Age: 41 Physical Description: pale green body, deep green mane and blue eyes. His symbol is a group of green musical notes Powers: none Personality: Medley is calm, considerate and kind. He is cautious in the way that he doesn’t like to lose control of the situation, and would rather pass on any adventure that is too risky. He likes to calculate the risks carefully and decide on that basis if it’s a smart enterprise, but he isn’t too thoroughly logical, either. For a friend, he would do anything, even something dangerous. He has a bit of a shy streak, and tends to worry a lot over his friends (especially Firefly, whom he sees as a trouble-magnet).
History: Medley was born and raised in Dream Valley, and never chose to leave anywhere. He is one of those ponies who rather choose a home and then stay there, rather than all the time being off and finding new adventures. Ever since youth, he has been best friends with Firefly, a reckless mare who has come to matter more to Medley than he dares to admit. It all began when they were but foals. Firefly was always going off on adventures and doing stupid stunts which, Medley feared, would get her injured or even killed. So Medley had to run along after her and try to talk sense into her – even if it made no difference whatsoever. This pattern continued to their teens. Only, at that time, another factor came into play for them.
Medley fell in love. At first he didn’t realise it, as he continued to be her support and aid whenever she needed it, and simply there, watching her, worrying over her, when she didn’t need it. She never noticed, mostly because he never let her see it. He wasn’t sure if an adventurous mare like Firefly would like a more static stallion like him, and thus he has never dared to suggest anything and has always tried to hide his feelings from her. Part of the reason for this has also been Medley’s reluctance to jeopardise the good friendship between Firefly and himself, and so things have stayed pretty much the same between them for all these years. He’s always worrying over her, but in his heart he has the fondest wish that one day she might notice just how important she is to him.
It was, however, in Medley’s early twenties, that his attention was momentarily drawn away from Firefly. He met a young mare. He couldn’t bring himself to truly love this mare, but as he missed the kind of affection he saw himself as never able to get from Firefly, he fell for the attraction of comfort. He never did marry this mare, but he had one foal with her, Baby Medley. Baby Medley was aptly named after his father in the sense that she was just as sensible as he was. In many other ways, the father and the daughter were very different, however, and their relationship was never as warm as Medley might have wished. He did help to raise her, and bid her warm farewell when she left for Ponyville to study Voice and Drama, but since she left, he has not really seen her mother much.
Right now, Medley is struggling with his desire to tell Firefly how he feels, and the fear that it may be too late. Birthplace/Current Residence: Dream Valley

Haha, so I decided I'd bring Sea Tiger's mother here for now. I'm not sure if she'll stay here though. So she's just a temp. Character's Name: Seaflower Type: earth Gender: female Age: 56 Physical Description: aqua green body, blue curly hair with a stripe that used to be pink but is now grey, and coral eyes. Her symbols cover her entire sides and consists of white and blue seashells and coral and white star-shaped seaflowers. Powers: none, save that her pink streak, once upon a time, could change colours into magenta in the sunlight. Nowadays it hasn’t done it anymore. Personality: Seaflower used to be of the dreaming, careless kind. Nowadays she is nervous, bitter and desperate. To see further explanation, read history. History: Seaflower had a happy, eventless childhood, followed by a happy, eventless youth. Her life seemed like it would be all sunshine and no worries all through her teens to her early twenties. She would spend her days in the sun, on the beach, and not have a worry in the world, and never think of tomorrow. All this changed 30 years ago or so, however. She met a rugged older sailor, a sea captain – a pirate, though she did not realise it at the time – and she was seduced by him. She allowed herself to dream, she allowed herself to build fantasies, and she believed him when he told her that he’d take her with him, and she’d be his chosen one, and that they would be happy together. But after a short affair he was suddenly gone. Obviously Seaflower realised the stallion had done this to many mares before her, and she was right. Barnacle, the pirate captain she had fallen halfway in love with, had a mare in nearly every port, sometimes even two. The tragedy of Seaflower was that she was one of the unlucky ones to become pregnant from him. When she first found it out, she was desperate, and did not know what to do. She tried even getting rid of the foal in her womb, but it would not do. He simply wouldn’t die, and immediately afterwards she felt horrible for trying something like that. She couldn’t bring herself to love the foal, however, or want him. He would ruin everything for her! Her love to Barnacle turned to hate, and her careless, world-embracing attitude turned to bitterness. She planned to abandon the foal after it was born. To the foal’s luck, Barnacle returned to port a year later, after the foal had been born. Perhaps he thought he could persuade Seaflower into believing his lies again. Perhaps he had begun to like her. She didn’t know. She didn’t care. She showed him the foal when he came by, and screamed at him, and demanded he do something about it. He wouldn’t. He ran. Seaflower’s hatred for him grew. She wouldn’t let him get away with it. So she snuck to the pirate ship the next night, knowing they were scheduled to go the next morning. The foal was thankfully quiet as she hid him into the cargo bay, to a place she was sure they would notice him – but only after leaving port. He would get hungry and would scream, and they would notice him. Then Barnacle could have his spawn, and Seaflower would be free once more. The next morning, Seaflower stood near the bay where the ship was docked, behind trees, watching the ship start off and sail away. She couldn’t keep the tears away, even if she told herself she cared for neither male on the ship. She waited until the very last speck of the ship had disappeared, and then she turned away. She believed she could now start her life all over again, as she would never hear of her foal or Barnacle again. She was horribly wrong. Nightmares and feelings of guilt would plague her ever since. During the past thirty years she has not been able to stop thinking about what she did. She had realised Barnacle was a pirate when she had given the foal to him. She had no idea what had happened to the foal since. Had he killed him? Had he raised him as his own? Had he abandoned the foal to the next port he passed? Did the foal know about his mother? About anything? Questions and fears ran through her mind, until she was a wreck. The pink streak in her mane had paled to grey. She couldn’t think of anything else but the foal she had abandoned anymore. She had to find out what had happened to him. So finally, she left her home and started to look for Barnacle and his son, in hopes that should she find either, she would find out what had happened. She has been travelling through different ports ever since. Now she has arrived to Dream Valley and has been here for some time. She doesn’t know anymore where else to go, as she has had no luck during her travels. Birthplace/Current Residence: she was born on the Butterfly Island

Hmm, strange, Becka told me way back that Hasbros can't be temps. Because I remember I used the G3 purple baby as a temp, and afterwards Becka said Hasbros can't be temps. Maybe that was just at C03, and rules here are different. *shrugs*

TEMP (accepted by Becka for the storyline): Name: Surge Age: 27 Type: unicorn Symbol: an ocean wave, darker at the root, turning gradually lighter, with a white crest at the top Colors: ice grey body and blue hair that is dark at the roots and fades gradually to surf white at the very tips. His eyes change shades according to his mood, being usually clear deep blue when he’s calm and/or happy and turning to darker when he gets angry and paler when he gets sad. Powers: none; unless you count in the strange quality of his eyes, but that's not really a power. Description/temperament: Surge is a fierce fighter and a worthy ally, but he is not the most loyal of companions. Surge has always been looking out for the number one, and for the number one alone. He is not afraid to switch sides if he thinks it beneficial. For his defence it can be said that if he does promise something upon his honour, he will go to the death to keep his promise. Of course, he won’t promise anything very often, if ever. Unreliable though he may be, Surge does respect one rule: “the one who is either the richest or the most powerful is the boss”. Thus his loyalty can be bought and his respect earned. Birthplace (or place of the majority of residence): born in Highlands, lived most of his life out on the sea. History: Surge was born in the Highlands, though oddly enough, his family were not Highlanders. He doesn’t know where his parents originally came from, save that they were refugees from far away. He grew up in the bad side of the Heathervale Harbour, running the streets with children of rogues, robbers and ruffians. He learned survival skills from very early on, as his father’s idea of upbringing a son was to make sure he grew up into a tough guy, and thus learned to take care of himself already as a child. Surge’s father made sure Surge always fought his own battles, and never lost. Surge’s mother, for her part, had little say in her son’s upbringing, and his father systematically raised Surge to become a warrior. Surge’s father was the one to tattoo his son’s horn, a delicate job that took an entire day and a night on Surge’s fifteenth birthday. His father explained Surge that the symbols were a charm of protection and strength, and that all the unicorns of his clan wore it on their horns, even as the pegasi wore it on their wings, and the earthers on one of their forefeet. Whether this charm really works no one knows. Soon after this, Surge was separated from her family, however. His father got into a fight with a sea rogue and was killed. Intending to avenge his father’s death Surge bid his mother goodbye and stowed away onto the ship the rogue served on. It was not a pirate ship, though it was not a purely honest ship, either, and when Surge challenged the crewmember and killed him, the captain of the ship was impressed enough to invite Surge to remain on his ship and take the place of the pony he had killed. Since then, Surge has spent his days out on the seas, sailing and finding the roaming life fit him perfectly. He learned the ways of the sea and became a pirate. Other info: Surge has dark red brown leather straps around his feet, and daggers attached to these straps. His horn is covered in mystical (Celtic-looking) symbols spiralling from the root to the tip. Picture:
