(Its on the bit of Course that has now been lost forever to the bastards at the "old boards" :/ I should write him up a new one...today.)
"Cutlass is the doctor, and I wouldn't give him any reason not to help you. He's probably better at killing things than he is at saving them."
Waving a brown hoof in the general dirrection of the rest of the ship Ratskull dismissed the mare and picked his map back up.

Turtlebeak groaned inwardly. Just her luck that she had gotten off on tthe wrong foot with the doctor on the ship. Turning to respond to Tetra, she said,
"Nothing. Tsunami mapped it out. He has it all in his memory."
As slow as prisoner heading to the gallows, she walked up to Cutlass. If it weren't for the floating bottle of rum and the dripping of blood from her already soaked cloth, no one would be able to tell where she had gone. She made only what was left of her ear visible, assuming Cutlass would do the rest.

Cutlass made no move, just stayed where he was. Sure the Captain had said fix her, so fix her he would. Not happily nor willingly by any means, but he did what he was told when it was in his best interest to do so. She was needed still so he’d do what he was ordered.
Slipping below deck he returned with the supplies needed. Taking the dirty cloth off, he grimaced. The child would be lucky if she didn’t end up with an infection putting something like that over an open wound. Gray-green eyes were like ice as he took a bottle from his bag. Pulling the cork from the bottle of hydrogen peroxide he liberally poured it over the bloody ear. He watched in amusement as the liquid seeped in and began to bubble. The more it bubbled the better. At worst the liquid would burn at best it would sting. After dumping more of the liquid onto her ear he corked the bottle and put it away. Having wiped the ear off he applied a homemade concoction of his own to it before bandaging it up.

Turtlebeak grimaced at the stinging liquid.
When Cutlass finished wrapping the bandage, she managed a quiet "Thank you." Turning to the capitan, still shamed and not making any move to make herself visible, she grumbled,
"Are we going to go?"

Ratskull smiled at his newely broken mare. She would be worth much more cowed like this than as a firey young filly.
"First you tell me where we find everything. You're going to need this once we get in there," he held up a dagger but didn't trust her with it until they got to the room with the treasure. He didn't need to be stabbed by an invisible blade before leaving the ship. "Where on this map would the entrance to the vaults be?" He held out the much too pink map of the Castle for her to label the hallways and such they would need to take.

Turtlebeak walked to the place that she had thrown Tsunami and snatched him up. To her dismay, the turtle's shell was spattered with her blood. She reached for her cloth, then realized it would do more harm than good, it being soaked with the dark red liquid. Instead, she wiped the blood off Tsunami with her foreleg.
Turtlebeak placed Tsunami on the map. The turtle looked at the map for a few seconds, then placed his claw at the entrance to the vaults. A tiny drop of blood that Turtlebeak had not yet seen still clung to his claw, and when he touched the map it dripped off and made a small, red stain. The vauts were marked.

Bala dropped off the boom, unmoved by the events with Turtlebeak, but taking a sudden interest in the location of the vauts. He hovered nearby and waited for his captain's commands.

Tetra walked away over the deck, quietly muttering. This will take all night. She glanced over at Ratskull, but stayed in the shadows.

"Excellent," the Captain grinned at his most valuable employee. Taking her by the foreleg, he pushed her before the rest of the group, "please, lead the way my dearest."

Turtlebeak picked up Tsunami and stroked his shell. She was deeply confused. One moment, she was having her ear cut off, and the next.....
"Sure." She mumbled. "Whatever you say."
She trotted off in the direction of the castle, not looking back.
((Sure. Sounds good!))

D*mn newcomer. Tetra´s ear lied flat towards her neck. She would never, ever admit it, but she was jealous. Why did Ratskull treat the filly as if she was privileged? Yes, they did need her. Tetra knew it, she could tell - but she did not want to younger mare to belive that she could board a pirate ship and then suddenly become the favourite of the crew. This was no playhouse. Lead the way. Sigh. [í]Oh joy.[/i] She gritted her teeth slightly, before perking her ears forward. Without a word, she followed the ponies away from the place.
EDIT: [[Oh, cont. there]]

Things were actually starting to happen. Orivy stepped away from the railing and followed silently.
(Woohoo, movin' on out!)

Bala hesitated, though surely it wasn't because of fear. He tilted his head, felt the breeze in his mane, and then slowly made his way after them just a few paces behind. He was always one to watch the captain's back. Now he felt the urge more than ever.
