Roxanne caught the tiny note of indignation in the pirate's voice and decided to keep her mouth shut.

"Aye, aye," Razz said softly, listening to Kail. Jewel certainly had looked rather...off. Kind of like how he felt. The ocean was on his mind. Well, why shouldn't it be? He was on the ocean, after all. No, something else.
He turned around, still looking off into the distance. Giving up, he turned back again and headed below deck in search of Jewel. He stopped again just to glance over his shoulder, to see the sea again.

"Then we must hurry," Hollow said. "It may be that it is your fears affecting your dreams - but what if it is not? At the very least, we must give the choice to the Captain."
"What if he doesn't believe us?" She asked softly, in almost a monotoned rhetorical way. Though her voice contained little hope, her mind began to race for a solution, an idea, any bit of anything that could disprove what seemed to await the ship and its crew.

Hollow tossed his tail from side to side. He was unsure himself. It could be that she had been only seeing a nightmare. But his logic told him that all possible avenues must always be checked before discarding them, and this one was much too important to be just shrugged away.
"Well." He shook his mane. "If he doesn't, we can only hope that he knows the sea well enough to know what he's talking about, I guess. But we should give him the choice." He nudged her on the neck. "Come. We will go talk with him. It is better than to sit here and fret."

Kail followed Razz as he made his way below deck, where they quickly ran into Jewel and Hollow. "Well now, just the pony we were looking for," Kail said easily, trying not to show how concerned they all appeared to be. "We wanted to make sure you were alright. You looked a little sea-sick earlier. I can help, if you need it."

Before Hollow and Jewel could leave, Coon made a point to the both of them.
"Hey, not to brag, but I've been through quite an adventure with the captain here." Coon looked to Hollow pointedly with this response.
Then, her attention focused to that of Jewel. "If I vouch for your skills, I'm sure he'll take heed."
Why not? Coon thoughtfully mused. She was on this ship just as everyone else. It was in her interests to keep the ship a float while she was still on it. And besides...it would be such a waste if all the beautiful gals on the ship ended up drowning.

Hollow nodded seriously.
"Yes, that is true," he admitted calmly. "Perhaps your intervention can help. The Captain of this ship appeared rather... unheeding of higher callings."
Kail followed Razz as he made his way below deck, where they quickly ran into Jewel and Hollow. "Well now, just the pony we were looking for," Kail said easily, trying not to show how concerned they all appeared to be. "We wanted to make sure you were alright. Hollow directed his attention to Kail as soon as she appeared. He rather respected her already, because of the way she seemed to be able to handle things.
"We were just about to go see the captain of the ship," he said - never minding that Jewel had not actually said she really was going to go talk to Sea Tiger. He felt he needed to inform the green pony, who was more or less the leader of the little group - well, at least one of the leaders - about Jewel's premonition. Hollow was still not happy with the way the Champions arranged themselves. He felt some more logic and hierarchy should have been applied. "Jewel might have had a premonition."
[[lol I wonder why it is that both my male characters on the ship like the idea of a clear hierarchy?]]

"Well now, just the pony we were looking for,"
Jewel's ears swiveled forward at the appearance of Razz and Kail, and she smiled a greeting.
"We wanted to make sure you were alright. You looked a little sea-sick earlier. I can help, if you need it."
"Not every pony with wings was made for the sea.." She said with a soft laugh, looking at Kail, who couldn't be more suited for the environment. "The pirate.. the red one, gave me.." She furrowed her brows a moment, "Well, he gave me something. And that seems to have helped.. but I'll come to you in the future, I think."
"If I vouch for your skills, I'm sure he'll take heed."
The pegasus held Coon's gaze a moment, eyes narrowing just the slightest bit as she considered the validity of an offer from the thief. Much as she tried to put it aside, her grudge was still there, and though it was gradually wearing down.. she still exercised caution with the masculine mare.
"Jewel might have had a premonition."
The pegasus shivered and nodded, "I think.. we may be headed for.. rather rough waters."

Kail took a deep breath as she processed the information; her family was all-too-familiar with rough waters. But that had been years and years ago, surely they would have made the boats crossing the oceans safer by now. Then again, they were in a wooden pirate ship. Kail was sure the pirates didn't have the same technology as the big merchant vessels that crossed the ocean to Course.
"I see," she said guardedly. She fully believed in Jewel's abilities, but they were a little too far out now to turn around and go back. And they would never get the locket back if that were the case. The only thing they could do was prepare themselves.
"Why don't you all go talk to the captain. I'm going to go take a flight and see what I can find." Mostly she would be looking for her second family, the family that had adopted her mother after she had gone overboard and ended up with no memory of who she was or what had happened. She'd also search the skies to see if she could tell which dirrection the storm was coming from, assuming it was coming on that quickly. And lastly, she wanted to make sure they did not loose track of the other ship.

Pulling his eyes from the sea, Razz followed Kail down the stairs. He was standing just behind her as she conversed with the others. He still felt like his mind was being pulled in another direction, not at all where it should be. When Kail said she was going to fly on, he wanted to say something. He didn't like the idea of her leaving the boat, but then she was more than capable of taking care of herself. Why should he worry?

Hollow nodded to what Kail said.
"Sounds like a plausible plan," he agreed. "Come, Jewel. Let's go talk to the captain."
And he started to walk toward the main deck.

"Why don't you all go talk to the captain. I'm going to go take a flight and see what I can find."
The fellow pegasus nodded to Kail, quickly following with an offer, "It's safer to scout out in pairs.. if you want to wait for me to talk to the captain, I'll go out there with you. If you like." Then I can get my hooves off this ship for a while..
"Sounds like a plausible plan," he agreed. "Come, Jewel. Let's go talk to the captain."
"Yes," The gold pegasus stood, more steadily than she had previously. Whatever remedy Cutter had administered seemed to have done well to calm her stomach, and her worries about the concoction's contents were beginning to dissipate.
"Let's go, then," She said, allowing Hollow to lead the way.

A regretful thought of not being able to fly passed Hollow's thoughts, but it was quickly gone. Yes, he also couldn't wink, but then, he was an earthling. When would he learn to keep to where he belonged, and his hooves to the ground?
He smiled to Jewel and then led her up to the main deck, and there straight to the captain.
Sea Tiger was still with Roxanne, but the appearance of the two Champions made him lift an eyebrow. He let his hoof caress the yellow mare from between the shoulderblades, and his other hoof rest on hers as he looked at her with a gentle smile on his lips.
"You're doing much better now," he told her.
Hollow stopped near the two of them, raising an eyebrow to the obvious friendliness with which the Captain was treating the Blue Champion. He cleared his throat.
"We have some important information," he said calmly. "If the Captain can spare us a minute."
Sea Tiger did look at him from over Roxanne's shoulder, but didn't move. He was far too comfortable with the mare right there.
"Yes?"

My my.. Roxy seems to be enjoying herself, Jewel thought with amusement. Peri briefly crossed her mind.
"Yes?"
Jewel reasoned there wasn't much use in beating around the bush. She bodly stepped closer to Tiger, locking eye contact with him.
"I.. I have reason to believe that our present course.. is leading us into a storm." A shiver crept up her spine as the images in her memory came back to her for a moment. "We.. should either change course, or.. be ready to weather the storm."

Sea Tiger had expected to hear something like a complaint that the rooms were too small or some such nonsense, but this threw him quite off track. He frowned and drew his head back. Then he looked up and around into the horizon. Sliding his hooves off from Roxanne, he went to the railing and placed his hooves against it. He searched for any possible signs of storm with his eyes and every other sense he had.
Then he turned round to look at the two Champions, rather impatient.
"There's not a single sign of storm," he said, stomping back to the helm, staring the pegasus up and down. "Who told you that there would be? The dolphins?" He laughed aloud. The mere thought was ludicrous to him.
