Roxanne didn't notice Hollow Heart's reaction to her nickname for him. She was oblivious to his past and the significance of his surname.
She did look up when Hollow complimented her - at least, it was as close to a compliment as she had gotten from him. "Thanks. I do try to get along." She half-smiled. "I'll try for sure to get the cast together."

(at college with no spell check, sorry for grammer errors)
"Aye! Wise words, m'friend!" he said and chuckled. He sized the other pony up. "You should talk to Cutter. He'd fix you right up with one of his potions."
Coon jerked forward, her body not expecting the strong contact of her old friend. But her hangover didn't stop her from catching herself with ease. Despite thr rough pounding through her skull, Coon turned around and smiled not only with her mouth, but with her golden eyes.
"Oh I don't doubt he could, cap'n." Coon grinned with a delightfully devious expression. "That guy sure can make a drink." She punched Tiger's shoulder playfully, in no means hurting in the slightest.
Settling back down, she retrieved the cards she had been playing with, shuffling them off handedly while her attention focused elsewhere. "So what do you think about this?" She nodded out across the ship in the direction she assumed their quary was heading. "All this I mean. The Champions."
Coon was still, well, not sure. She certainly felt bothered by how she did get out of jail, and how she got caugh to begin with, but she never gave much thought to the mission as a whole. Of course it'd be fun to take back the rainbow, stealing was a game and a way of life for her after all; but the traveling, company, and grunt work may not have been to her liking.

[[uh, Heart is not really his, like, surname, but, like, the second part of his current name. But anyway.]]
Hollow smiled a bit to Roxanne and nodded. Then he walked closer, looking at Jewel with some amount of concern on his face.
Tiger grinned when Coon punched him on the shoulder playfully, not even stirring for it. He eyed Coon as she started shuffling the cards and talked. He shrugged a bit to the question, turning his eyes away, growing more serious. He walked closer to the barrel Coon was using for a table.
"Aye, I don't know what to think," he said with a shrug of the shoulders. "I'm not quite sure which side of the law I'm on these days. My profession ain't your most honest one in the world, as you know." He winked to Coon, then was more serious again. "And now I'm here helping the Champions. They're supposed to be the paragons of good, or so I've heard. Only makes you wonder what they're doing with our kind of lot, doesn't it?" He tossed his tail toward Coon meaningfully.

[[I'm heeeere.. just coping with some crises >_< ]]
The golden pegasus closed her eyes as her face stretched into a long yawn. Purple eyes blinked and looked up at Hollow a moment, managing a small smile. Jewel yawned a second time and rested her head against Roxy, with every intention of sneaking her way back to sleep.

"I hear you," Coon said off handedly, in a voice that was neither excited or of low mumbling. "I've been in and out of that loop more than once the past year or two."
At that moment, she remembered her hooves still fidgetting with the cards. She tossed them to Tiger without much thought, knowing he'd have the skill and reflex to catch them. Glancing to sea, she stated, "You're missing a few cards."
Then, her head turned back to him and she looked directly at him. "I wouldn't worry too much about these guys. It's not the first time I've run in with them. Besides...," She grined that devious, pesky smile, "Maybe they've finally realized it's more fun to hang with us than going the rightious route all the time."

Roxy tickled the end of Jewel's ear. "Oh no you don't, kitten. Heart, help me out here!"

Tiger snatched the cards off midair into his teeth with one, snake-like movement, the deck remaining neatly in one pile. He tossed the deck down on the barrel a bit carelessly right after, however, and smirked to Coon. How right she was - metaphorically speaking especially.
"Oh, no, I'm missing quite a lot of cards," he said. "Most of the Aces and the Kings of this game, I tell you."
Then, her head turned back to him and she looked directly at him. "I wouldn't worry too much about these guys. It's not the first time I've run in with them. Besides...," She grined that devious, pesky smile, "Maybe they've finally realized it's more fun to hang with us than going the rightious route all the time."
Tiger had to laugh to that, though he grew more serious right after and shook his mane a bit.
"Well, I suppose I rather drive these ones around than the Dark Rainbow ponies. I hear those are real ungrateful lot, at least these ones might hold their end of the bargain." He paused for a moment and frowned, looking at Coon more closely. "You say you've run in with them before? Is that why they brought you along this time? I was wondering about that a little."
[[EDIT: Gah, forgot about Hollow. lol]]
Hollow winced again at the name and walked to Roxanne's side, stopping there with a bit of a forceful stomp of one hoof.
"Please," he said meaningfully, "do not call me that." A shudder rippled through him. In a way he disliked hearing the name... in another way... it echoed inside his quiet heart like a long forgotten murmur of a long forgotten song. Then he turned to look at Jewel, and reached his muzzle down to touch hers, nudging her on the muzzle a little. "Jewel... time to get up."
[[Hehe I love the way Roxy handles him. She always manages to make him feel uncomfortable and fuzzy at the same time.]]

Roxy's ears went back at the sudden display of displeasure. She could see nothing wrong with what she had done, but then again... Maybe a past lovers's nickname, or summat. "Sorry He- Hollow? Just a nickname, kid, you can tell I like nicknames. I thought it was kinda sweet."
[[ ... Thanks? *lol* I try. ; ) ]]

"Oh no you don't, kitten. Heart, help me out here!"
Nnnoo.. can't you see I'm comfy? And that was hardly a night's sleep.. Jewel huffed and blew through her nostrils. They're right though.. we still have a lot to do, and me sitting here on my flightless arse isn't going to help. The pegasus shifted slightly, about to lift her head.
"Jewel... time to get up."
Before Jewel could get her wits about her, she was looking straight into golden eyes, and there was a black-tipped muzzle less than a breath away. The pegasus froze a moment, maintaining her eye contact with Hollow for a few seconds before gracefully turning her head away, and pushing herself to a standing position. She didn't allow herself to dwell on what had just passed.
Jewel yawned, and stretched backwards and forwards, much like a cat or dog would. She arched her neck and tossed her purple-tipped locks briefly, then turned to Roxy with somewhat sleepy eyes.
"Alright, Roxy, I--" another yawn, "I'm ready. What's the plan?"

Roxy tweaked one of Jewel's ears. "Plan tiger? What plan?
"Wake up and we'll go find everyone and have a grand ol' meeting, says I."

[[sorry, sorrryy, but I've been just totally drained lately. >.<]]
Hollow felt a strange tremor go through him at the eye contact between himself and Jewel, however brief. Their muzzles had been so close to one another, he hadn't even realised how inappropriate his nuzzle might have been. He stepped back, blinking, a little abashed. He could say nothing.

((trying… to get back into rp mode. XD I think the current time is morning, right?))
Moon Crystal was caught in a daze. Actually, since they had set out for sea, she had been caught in a daze for sometime; trapped in some strange dream state, all night and day, dawn til dusk. She was only partially aware of the going ons of the ship, remembering a lot of yelling and… well she only remembered the things that distressed her the most though she never seemed to be able to summon the energy to actually do something about it. She also remembered spending a lot of time walking around aimlessly, keeping mostly to her self and avoiding the others as much as possible.
Like right now. It was a bit early in the morning, so most of the others where still below deck and so being above deck now was perfect when in need of a little fresh air and some more alone time. Besides, she enjoyed watching the sun rise when she had the chance.
Sighing, the pearly unicorn rested her head on the deck fence thing,- she didn’t really know the actual name for it, but she understood its purpose and didn’t feel the need to find out its proper name- lazily watching the pretty dream-like colours of the sea and sky before her. She would have liked to sleep right now, but sleep wouldn’t come. Anyway, her dreams had become irritating, which was strange because she usually delighted in experiencing and later deciphering them. But for some reason, they no longer held joy for her. She had this constant nagging feeling at the back of her head also, though she couldn’t quite understand what it meant or just really couldn’t bother to find out because trying to do so lead to confusion and a severe headache.
Annoyed, Moony brushed aside her worries, and stared out to sea. She wondered vaguely if this was the kind of setting that would have inspired Wysteria to do a painting. It had pretty colours and a nice dreamy quality to it.
((…And that was the only seemingly reasonable excuse I could come up with as to why Moony did the disappearing act during the boat trip O.o Feel free to annoy her. ))

[[Eeeee ye back ye back!!! *rushes to post*]]
Rain had been wandering around the ship in search of her brother - in vain. She couldn't understand where the little rascal had got himself to. Maybe he'd got lost. Oh, marvellous. Hopefully he hadn't fallen overboard into the sea or anything. She shuddered at the thought. Horrid.
Finally she decided to try the deck. It was her last hope, really. Not that she could be sure she had really looked everywhere - the ship was really very large, and she suspected she might have gone round in circles for several times. In any case, she came out onto the deck from the dark below, and blinked for a few moments in the brilliantly growing sunlight. She had almost forgotten what a nuisance sun could be. She much preferred the moon and its soft sort of light.
When her eyes got used to the light again she looked round on the deck. No Kenaz. But she did notice something else interesting. Well, there was the Captain and that odd raccoon-coloured pony with a card deck - she wrote them off for playing cards, though upon closer inspection she should have noticed that they really weren't - but what really caught her eye was someone she had never seen before. And someone who very obviously was not a pirate. She could not imagine her a pirate. And for a hunch, she might have guessed she was a Champion. But which one?
Curious, Rain trotted across the deck to Moony. She clopped her hoof on the railing a few times to notify she was there, and then smiled brightly while fluttering her wings slightly.
"Hello," she greeted the unicorn. "I don't think I've seen you before. Oh, oh, let me guess which Stripe." She eyed her once over and then tilted her head to the side, going over the stripes in her mind to decipher which ones were missing, which ones she hadn't met before. Red, orange, purple? At least red and orange. She squinted her eyes, trying to look for clues. Finally her eyes landed on the little orange feather almost concealed within Moony's symbol. Of course! "Orange!"

(( ^o^ ^.^ ^-^ ))
The sound of the hooves on the boarded deck coming towards her disturbed Moony from her current dream state, taking her away from the screaming paintbrushes and cackling canvases. She inwardly groaned a little at the thought of being disturbed and having company, but the other's voice was unfamiliar yet friendly and most likely not one of the Champions. It couldn't hurt to have a little bit of company, though she still would of preferred to be left alone.
When the other greeted, the unicorn turned her head and smiled pleasantly in greeting at the young mare, which she felt she did more out of habit and the knowing of not to be rude. I wonder what she is doing here though? Moony wondered quietly. She isn't a Champion I don't think, and she is too nice and sweet lookin' for a pirate... Maybe... she is a captive? As she mused over her thoughts, she was aware of the other looking her over as though trying to puzzle something out. It made the unicorn feel uncomfortable, but not enough for her to bother showing it.
"Orange!"
Moony blinked, taken aback for a moment and not quite understanding why the other said 'orange'. Orange? Where are oranges?... Oh... Ohhh I should of guessed that that was what she was trying to figure out... I really should try and pay... a little more attention...
"Y-Yeah... I'm the Orange..." That sounded a bit odd. "Well, not as in the fruit but, yano, as in the stripe, err Champion... thingy..." Moony trailed off, smiling a little with embarrassment. "Who might you be?"
